Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Manager who lives and breathes football. The ideal candidate is a social media expert and a die-hard football fan who understands the game’s culture, trends, and global community. You’ll be responsible for managing our social media channels, creating engaging content, and driving growth across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers on platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that resonates with football fans, including live match updates, memes, videos, and fan polls.
• Monitor football trends, news, and fan conversations to create timely and relevant content.
• Maintaining a daily, weekly, and monthly social media calendar for both organic and branded content (activate an ‘always on’ 365 calendar).
• Leverage trending topics and conversations in real-time to capitalize on content opportunities to amplify the voice/brand.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, and fostering a sense of community among followers.
• Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and video editors to produce high-quality content.
• Analyze and report on social media performance, using insights to optimize content strategy and improve engagement.
• Quickly recognize and react to real-time trends and current events by developing concepts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
